Friday Freebie~ 2 Printables

A couple of freebies on this lovely Friday morning for my favorite internet people!

I am all about filling my walls with things are happy, encouraging, & peaceful.   Art is one of those things for me (I have a couple of ideas brewing for art in this space...) & another is words.  I'm also all about sharing the love.  This song has been my jam lately & the reason for print 1.  Print 2 is one of my favorite hymns.  Love them together.  Hope you enjoy!  (& FYI, AC Moore is running a big sale on frames right now.)

Simply right click, save, & print (made for 5X7)!

I would love to make more free printables like these, so let's brainstorm together... feel free to email me your favorite quotes, lyrics, & verses!  Would love to get creative & share some more! Email is~ the[dot]preppy[dot]gypsy[at]gmail[dot]com

Have a great weekend, y'all!

For Sale~ A Collection of Trays

Before we begin... let me give you some inspiration to help show how trays can be so useful:

To hold jewelry! (sourcesource)

To keep your essentials! (source

To organize around the sink!  (source)

To organize a mini bar! (sourcesource)

& now let me explain.  I love trays.  They make the organizing queen in me very happy.  With trays, everything can have a place AND things look pretty.  I also like to put trays on top of trays.  Double win!  And bowls on trays.  Trays are useful when having people over because it helps things to look like they're in good order.  They're also useful for organizing makeup and jewelry on vanities, dresser, bathroom counters, etc.  One final use for trays~ they make excellent housewarming presents!

This post is dedicated to trays, trays, & more trays!  Priced individually, & if you're like me, you won't be able to have just one!

...to keep the items you wear the most all in one place!

...for when you just need a tray on a tray.  Or you can't decide between blue & white or brass.

(Pretty detail of pretty edging on the mirrored tray)

...for some extra pretty, add some flowers to your daily essentials.  Our flower frog shown in the photo above is still available.  Sadly (& not surprisingly), all my flowers have now died.

...another way of keeping daily essentials all nice & tidy.

...put basic hosting items on a tray for a polished look.

...another example of a hosting tray.  I know, I know, I love those tortoise cocktail napkins, too.

...trays are also great on top of coffee table books in a living space to "catch" items like keys, sunglasses, etc.

& there ya have it!  Going hunting tomorrow, so check back soon for more items!  In the meantime... you know the drill...

TPG in Real Life, vol. 1

Do y'all remember this birdcage & this picnic basket?  They are stylin' & profilin' in customer G.'s place!

I'm a very visual person, so I think it's helpful when you can see how you'd actually use something as seemingly random as a birdcage or a picnic basket to make your house a home.  I am thrilled to show you some real life photos from one of our customers.  Thanks & thanks again to customer G. for sharing with us how she is using some items that she bought a few weeks ago!!

I love how she used the birdcage above a bookshelf to add some depth and weight to the empty space on top.  Good layering with a large Paris frame & some candlesticks, too!

The picnic basket serves as the "catch-all" for mags, remotes, and even a blanket in G.'s living area.  I like how it goes with the wooden end table, but I think picnic baskets like this would also be great painted!

Lastly, G. snagged this end table before it ever went live on the blog, but we wanted to share it with you anyways!  Will be on the lookout for more tables like this because they are functional AND cute!  This type of end table is great when space is limited, because you get storage on the bottom and some just enough space for a coffee mug, few books, & an iPad on top.  And... did anyone else notice G's elephant Herend?  TPG officially has her eyes peeled!

Have you bought something from The Preppy Gypsy?  We'd LOVE to see how you're using it!  Email us a few photos at the[dot]preppy[dot]gypsy[at]gmail[dot]com -- not only would we love to see how you're using your PG items, but it would bring us much joy to share how you're using them in real life, too!
