Before we begin... let me give you some inspiration to help show how trays can be so useful:

& now let me explain.  I love trays.  They make the organizing queen in me very happy.  With trays, everything can have a place AND things look pretty.  I also like to put trays on top of trays.  Double win!  And bowls on trays.  Trays are useful when having people over because it helps things to look like they're in good order.  They're also useful for organizing makeup and jewelry on vanities, dresser, bathroom counters, etc.  One final use for trays~ they make excellent housewarming presents!

Some possible uses below...

TPG in Real Life, vol. 1

Do y'all remember this birdcage & this picnic basket?  They are stylin' & profilin' in customer G.'s place! 

I'm a very visual person, so I think it's helpful when you can see how you'd actually use something as seemingly random as a birdcage or a picnic basket to make your house a home.  I am thrilled to show you some real life photos from one of our customers.  Thanks & thanks again to customer G. for sharing with us how she is using some items that she bought a few weeks ago!! 

 I love how she used the birdcage above a bookshelf to add some depth and weight to the empty space on top.  Good layering with a large Paris frame & some candlesticks, too! 

The picnic basket serves as the "catch-all" for mags, remotes, and even a blanket in G.'s living area.  I like how it goes with the wooden end table, but I think picnic baskets like this would also be great painted! 

Lastly, G. snagged this end table before it ever went live on the blog, but we wanted to share it with you anyways!  Will be on the lookout for more tables like this because they are functional AND cute!  This type of end table is great when space is limited, because you get storage on the bottom and some just enough space for a coffee mug, few books, & an iPad on top.  And... did anyone else notice G's elephant Herend?  TPG officially has her eyes peeled!

I've never seen pierced brass lights quite like these!  They give off great dewey light.  They're the perfect night lights for a kitchen or bathroom.  I played around with them at my house, and I also like how they look on an entry table.  How would you use them?   I liked them grouped as a trio like the photo above -- if you do, too, I've made a group deal for the set!

For Sale~ Teal Recipe/Photo/Quote Holder

I've received a lot of happy thoughts about this teal color that made its original debut on our first coat rack....  

This recipe holder would look great in any kitchen... if you can't cook, might as well make it look like you can, right??? Or as a picture frame.  Or to remind yourself of a favorite Bible verse or quote.  Would be cute in any room, really!

Side note~ I used my grandmother's pumpkin pie recipe in the pic below because this is one of five things that I am LEGIT good at making.  Booyah.
